Bronzed beauty – the best bronzers on the market

Find your perfect bronze this winter

With more and more snow engulfing the nation, it is no wonder that our summer tans are fading at a more considerable pace than ever. To those who are confident enough to embrace their pale complexions, I salute you, to those who are still slapping on the fake tan, I stand by you.

But what bronzers can accentuate a tanned skin-tone, albeit falsely accomplished?!

The following five are by far my favourite:

1. Hoola by Benefit

This matte bronzing powder can transform you from ice queen to glowing goddess  in one simple sweep. Priced between £20-£25, this bronzer will last you the entire winter, and possibly even the spring months. Use sparingly on cheeks, neck and shoulders to give yourself a natural brown sheen.

2. Jemma Kidd, Showstopper bronzer

If you’re a bit of a gym addict who wants to stay looking bronzed and beautiful when working out, then this water-resistant bronzer  with gold shimmer finish is right up your street. The maxi size means you’ll  never run out, but is compact enough to fit in your gym bag.

3. MAC bronzing powder

MAC make-up sits high in the bible of beauty brands, so it is no surprise that its bronzer ranks highly. Available in five colours, this product can be tailored to every skin-tone. Finish with MAC’s Mineralize Skinfinish to highlight cheekbones and browbones.

4.  Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick

The five luminous colours in Bobbi Brown’s Shimmer Brick combine to create a stunning bronze shimmer that exudes an unattainable level of radiant beauty. Keep make up neutral and let your skin-colour sing all your praises thereafter.

5. Clinique True Bronze Pressed Powder

Build your desired level of bronze with this lightweight bronzer, which enhances natural skin-tone, whilst simultaneously darkening your face colour. With a price tag of £20, this quality product will satisfy your tanorexic mind-set without breaking the bank.

See below for a helpful bronzer application tutorial.

N.B. Remember to keep skin hydrated and clear during the winter months by drinking plenty of water, moisturising regularly and eating plenty of fresh fruit and veg.
